Day #6 – the perfect gearhead evening

After our history tour through Hollister we headed down south
where we met with Mark Garza of Stylish Kustoms. He took
us to his father's workshop where they work on their own
and friend's cars. A current project is this '35 Chevy coupe.

This killer Olds bubble top coupe is owned by Mark's father, another
member of the Headhunters Car Club.

Check out the flawless black paintjob.

Around the workshop, there's no lack for custom material.

Following the shop tour, Mark took us to the nice small town
Guadalupe where I took the chance to snap some pics of
Mark's beautiful '57 Chevy wagon in front of this old tavern.

The golden evening light was magic.

When Gilbert and Steve of the Los Phantoms Car Club arrived in their
cars, the setting couldn't get any better.

A lowrider Impala cruising by.

California at its best.

It turned out that Gilbert had a barber shop just around the corner
so we went to check it out.

That's our kind of barber salon.

Mark, Gilbert, Steve and Dani.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the local mexican restaurant. What a
great evening! Thank you, Mark!
