Day #16 – OC California

Saturday morning, we drove up to San Clemente where we met with Bob
Hill of the ACES to have a seaside breakfast and to check out his latest
project, a model a roadster.

While we had breakfast, he sold his 1932 three window coupe.

Seating position: check. Arm position: check.

We drove up further north into Orange County
until we got to Circle City Hot Rods in Orange
where we met with our friend Dana of the ACES
and shop owner Jimmy White.

Time for another great shop: the Cycle Lodge, run by Mike Davis
(Born Loser) and Grant Peterson (Freedom Machinery), the guys who put
up the annual Born Free Show.

What a cool shop! Our luggage was already
bursting but we just had to buy something.

Right behind the shop there's the work shop.

As our journey was coming to an end,
we had to get some gifts for our girls at home.

Girls love handbags. And what better than
getting an original Harvey's seatbelt bag?
Thanks again, Dana!

We also checked out Dana's home where we came across this nice truck.

Dana's 1933 roadster looking good as usual.
