Day #11 – monday – work day

Sunday evening, after a hard day at the Pomona swap meet, we arrived
in sunny Carlsbad. 

There was not much time to relax as we – as usual – had to take care
of business. We met with Kyle, my good friend living in Oceanside,
and drove up to Fallbrook. 

His grocery getter is also the perfect lunch getter. Four doors, no waiting.

After a savory cheese burger combo, we started digging through the early
days of drag racing history at Dode Martin's shop. 

More than enough material for a great article. 

Wanted: rear bumper for a '56 wagon. 

Working hard til late.
